Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support students and staff at a school in Davis, CA. This contract position offers the chance to work within a dynamic educational environment, providing essential psychological services that promote student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student needs and progress.
- Use data-driven approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid credential or license to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and utilizing evidenced-based interventions.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently within a school setting and manage caseload responsibilities.
