Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting with at least 1 year of experience and a TX license or eligibility.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is in a large acute care hospital with 450 beds and a census of approximately 360
- Services provided across 7 floors including ortho, neuro, oncology, post-op, med surg, and ICU (medical, cardiac, surgical)
- Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Collaborative environment with 8-10 PTs and 6-8 PTAs daily, working alongside OT, ST, and case management
- Trauma level 3 hospital
- EPIC charting experience is preferred
- Position involves working closely within a multidisciplinary therapy team
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved and no time off permitted during the first week of orientation
- First-time travelers are considered for this position
- Scrub or dress code details are not specified

- Valid TX Physical Therapy license required (will accept pending license if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute care PT experience
- Ability to work with a wide variety of patient populations including ortho, neuro, oncology, med surg, and ICU
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Former permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Locals within 50 miles are not eligible
