This Infusion Pharmacist position is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity with weekday hours and the potential to convert to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Infusion Pharmacist – Compensation
• Pay rate: $64.27 per hour
• Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week
• Contract-to-hire opportunity
Infusion Pharmacist – Highlights
• Contract assignment with potential to convert to a full-time position
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Onsite position
• Long-term contract (approximately 13 weeks)
Infusion Pharmacist – Responsibilities
• Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal laws
• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) as needed
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify overuse patterns
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Provide patient counseling on prescription and non-prescription medications, including dosage, side effects, storage, and interactions
• Prepare and compound medications, including sterile preparations, following proper procedures
• Educate patients on the use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians and clerks
• Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
• Identify and communicate drug-related problems to physicians and healthcare providers
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, interns, and other healthcare professionals
Infusion Pharmacist – Requirements
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Illinois
• Ability and willingness to function as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)
• Preferred experience with home infusion or long-term care pharmacy
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
