Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Cash Application Specialist to join a dynamic and fast-paced team within a rapidly growing organization. This is a long-term temporary position. You will work closely with multiple business units, own specific accounts, and be a key contributor to the cash application process.
Key Responsibilities:
Process high-volume daily cash applications including Lockbox, ACH, and Credit Card payments.
Utilize Great Plains ERP system to accurately post and reconcile transactions.
Use BrainTree to pull credit card processing reports for manual posting.
Maintain accuracy and timeliness of daily cash postings, ensuring all previous day cash is entered.
Reconcile discrepancies and research historical payment records (up to several years back).
Participate in month-end close processes independently, ensuring timely cash-out and reporting.
Utilize Excel for data tracking, reconciliation, and analysis.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a high-volume cash application role.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Proficient in Excel and experienced with large, complex spreadsheets.
Familiarity with Great Plains is preferred.
Experience with BrainTree or similar credit card processors is a plus.
