This is an overnight shift with a bit of work at the beginning and end, and sleep in the middle.
We’re looking for a reliable, calm, dog-loving person to help with overnight care 2 to 3 nights per week minimum.
Shift: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Includes: 30-minute unpaid lunch break
How it works:
- Arrive at 8:30 PM
- Let dogs out of crates and supervise
- Clean dinner bowls
- Send a photo or short video update with a reassuring message to clients
- Around 9:30 PM, settle dogs in thoughtfully for bed

- others sleep in the room with you
- Sleep overnight
- Wake around 5:45 AM
- Feed dogs and handle morning potty routine
- Relay any important notes to morning staff and leave at 7:00 AM
Must-haves:
- Able to create warm, thoughtful updates for clients
- Reliable transportation
- Good judgment around dog behavior and safety
- Kind, emotionally intelligent customer service
- Gentle, attentive care with dogs
Most of the shift is quiet once the dogs are settled, but you must be dependable, attentive, and comfortable handling dogs safely. Additional daytime shifts may also be available.
