Position Overview:

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an experienced Internist/Medical Director for nursing home services in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This leadership role requires a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with at least 2 years in management, offering a highly competitive compensation package with multiple bonus opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Licensure: Active New York State Medical License (Required).
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in geriatric medicine, nursing home regulations, quality improvement, and clinical leadership.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, strategic thinking, team-building skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing home services.
  • Manage and supervise clinical staff within the nursing home settings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality metrics.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and case conferences.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Mentor and support clinical staff in professional development.
