Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you’ll facilitate resource study halls, co-teach alongside general education staff, and manage essential paperwork to ensure compliance and student success. Your skills as a Special Education Teacher—and background as an LPN/LVN in a school setting—will empower students to thrive in both academic and social-emotional domains.

Key qualifications:

• Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Experience in a high school setting preferred
• Comfortable managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and documentation
• LPN/LVN license with school-based experience is highly valued
• Collaborative attitude for co-teaching and interacting with diverse learning teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Implement IEPs and adapt instruction for diverse learners
• Oversee resource study halls and support students’ individual needs
• Co-teach general education courses as needed
• Manage student records and required paperwork accurately and timely
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and service providers
• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment
