Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for Special Education Teachers to support students in a K11 separate school environment focused on learners with high-intensity needs and significant behavioral challenges. The role is based in Colorado Springs, CO, with a full academic school year contract from August 11, 2025, through May 14, 2026. The position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities include providing specialized behavioral and academic support tailored to each student's unique needs. Candidates will collaborate closely with a specialized support team to create and implement individualized education plans and manage classroom dynamics effectively.

Key qualifications and experience desired:

• Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License
• Proven experience working in self-contained or high-needs special education classrooms
• Expertise in supporting students with severe emotional and behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, TACT2, or Ukeru techniques is highly preferred
• Ability to work on-site with a multi-disciplinary team and engage collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
