An opportunity is available for an RN with Telemetry experience, focusing on nephrology patients during night shifts. This contract role involves providing care in an acute care hospital setting with a dedicated team and support for patient needs.
Location:
Situated in O'Fallon, MO, this area offers a blend of suburban comfort and convenient access to urban amenities. Residents enjoy a variety of parks, local dining, and cultural activities, creating a well-rounded community environment.
Work Schedule:
- Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on rotation)
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with 1-2 years of telemetry nursing experience preferred
- New graduates or first-timers accepted
- BCLS and NIH certifications required
- Pending licenses within a 75-mile radius accepted
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing specialized care to nephrology patients on telemetry monitoring
- Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Utilizing EPIC charting system accurately and efficiently
- Adhering to hospital protocols, including peritoneal dialysis procedures
- Maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the shift
Additional Information:
- Acute care hospital environment with 233 staffed beds
- Navy scrubs required
