Maintains AORN and AST standards to ensure patient safety at all times. Assists the surgeon with gowning and gloving, draping of the sterile field and performing technical tasks. Required Education:Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program Preferred Education:CST and Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing ProgramRequired Skills:
Ability to read, write and follow instructions; strong organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
Meditech, faxing, scanning Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Basic Life Support Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Preferred Experience:
One or more years’ experience as a CST in a hospital Operating Room
