Job DescriptionMechanical Assembler – Weekend Shift
📌 Pay: $18.25/hour
📌 Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM (3 days = full-time hours)

⭐ What You’ll Do
- Operate mechanical equipment such as cut‑off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, and balancers
- Use hand tools to assemble driveshafts and ensure all parts are fitted and secured correctly
- Measure components using tape measures and calipers for accurate assembly
- Read and follow work orders, instructions, and dimensional information
- Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure quality standards are met
- Use computers, tablets, and scanners to track production tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all PPE and safety guidelines
- Support team goals and assist with additional tasks as needed

- Experience with mechanical assembly, hand tools, or pneumatic tools
- Ability to read work orders and follow instructions
- Basic mechanical skills and comfort working with machinery
- Basic computer skills (tablets, scanning systems, internet)
- Strong communication, organization, and math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
