We are seeking experienced candidates for the role of Order Selector. This position involves operating standard forklifts and requires the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. The purpose of this role is to manage volume in the Walmart department and ensure timely deliveries. Candidates will be responsible for boxing and making pallets, picking and packing items using a touchscreen scanner, and stowing packaged and unpacked items in designated areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse duties such as picking orders, receiving/stowing products, unloading and loading trailers.
- Fulfill orders for Walmart, Amazon, and Costco departments accurately to avoid damage.
- Ensure shipments are loaded and received on the correct trucks within assigned deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Continuously stand/walk in a warehouse environment for 8 hours or more.
- Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to stack, carry, lift, and pick products.
- Lift continuously 20 lbs, frequently 25-40 lbs, and occasionally 50 lbs or more.
- Stack pallets and totes (20-50 lbs) up to 6 feet tall frequently.
- Perform frequent lifting above the shoulders.
Essential Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Self-management and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Order picking, warehouse distribution, warehouse inventory, pallet jack operation.
- Experience with RF scanning, forklift operation, and picking inventory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Microsoft Excel proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Uphold and follow safety, food safety, and production quality standards.
- Prior experience in order picking/pulling and scanner usage preferred.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including overtime and weekends.
- Accuracy, thoroughness, reliability, and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
