JOB SUMMARY
This position supports and assists the People Development functions of Human Resources and Training, including the recruiting process, and personnel policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May include any and/or all of the following:
- Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all employees.
- May file and maintain electronic personnel records utilizing the HRIS in line with Credit Union policies and government regulations. Retain records in line with record retention requirements.
- Assist in recruiting talent across the organization by being the first personal interaction with applicants by calling regarding opportunities and interviews as well as screening top talent for interview consideration.
- Utilize the recruiting system to track requisitions and applicants, while also maintaining contact with potential applicant pool to keep their interest in a career with the credit union active. Create and maintain job boards for open positions across multiple platforms to reach the most and best applicants to the organization. Provide feedback to candidates that request it on an ongoing basis.
- Responsible for various functions of the ATS.
- Assists with applicant flow in reviewing, decisioning, and processing applications, making calls to applicants for interview time coordination, conducting pre-employment process and developing pre-employment and new hire approvals. Prepares new hire paperwork and New Employee Orientation binders, including travel coordination for new hires. Assists in Asana recruiting maintenance.
- Will collaborate with other recruiters and employees on providing marketing content to support the overall recruiting plan.
- Coordinate HUB posts for employee communications, creating articles, working with People Development staff on posts, to ensure employees receive up to date information related to People Development activities.
- Assists in submitting IT tickets of promotions, transfer, changes or new hire.
- Provides clerical assistance on various HR functions including, but not limited to recruiting, benefits, job descriptions, etc.
- Supports People Development area with general staffing coverage including assisting co-employees with questions, verifying employment, acting as reception for the area, processing all mail for the area, etc.
- Assists with Training and Conference room equipment, and general assistance for users.
- Coordinates bi-annual wellness event for employees, making contacts with vendors, ensuring announcements to staff, set up of room, coordination of prizes, ideas for how to conduct the event and various other tasks necessary to make the event a success.
- Will provide higher level support to recruiting and training functions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and experience equivalent to:
Experience processing paperwork quickly and accurately
A high school degree or equivalent
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job required
REQUIREMENTS
Regular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position. While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for a significant period of time and perform functions that require manual dexterity. The employee must occasionally reach above or below normal body position, stoop or bend, and carry, lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. A normal range of hearing, vision, and speech are required to effectively work with co-employees and members.

Follows regulatory and policy compliance requirements, which include those efforts in compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, Identity Theft Red Flags and other compliance related Policies. This position also requires maintaining confidentiality with regard to non-public information about our members and the Credit Union.
