Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Gardendale, AL
Duration: 10 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support the nursing team in maintaining a safe and effective healthcare environment during night shifts.
Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist residents with daily nursing care and support individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and facility regulations
Requirements:
• Active LPN License required
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment required
Preferred:
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
