Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the best talent is hired! This growing organization is looking to meet staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates and advising hiring managers. This is a 13-week position, with possibility of going longer.


Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Pay: $28-$31 per hour DOE

Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and interview for assigned positions

  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need

  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions

  • Network through industry contacts, memberships, trade groups and employees

  • Build networks to find qualified candidates

  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives

  • Create descriptive employment postings and advertisements

  • Assist with new hire onboarding process

Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, business, or related field

  • Prior Healthcare recruiting experience, 2-3 years’ experience required

  • Must be ok working a 3-month project assignment, possibly longer

  • Knowledge of EEO, ADA, Wage and Hour and other applicable Employment Laws

  • Excellent knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices including but not limited to performance management, compensation management, and recruitment

  • Ability to assess and analyze complex business needs and conceptualize creative solutions

  • Experience with Human Resources technology products, including recruiting and onboarding; Talent Management is preferred

  • Ability to effectively interact with associates at all levels within the organization

  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills; as well as presentation skills

  • Ability to adjust work schedule according to the business needs

  • Thorough understanding of how business strategies drive talent initiatives

  • Experience with MS products, including, Excel, Word, Power Point, Internet Explorer and Outlook
