Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN)
Full‐Time | Hospital Setting | Claremont, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our hospital‐based clinical team in the Claremont, CA area. The LVN plays a key role in supporting the Practitioner, delivering patient care, and ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the department.
This position requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‐paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care Support — Assist the Practitioner in delivering safe, high‐quality patient care
- Patient Flow Management — Ensure efficient movement of patients through the department
- Administer medications and perform clinical tasks within LVN scope
- Assist with clinical duties aligned with Medical Assistant responsibilities
- Follow physician orders, including providing discharge instructions
- Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and care plans
- Manage medication inventory and maintain supply levels
- Train clinical staff on policies and procedures
- Oversee daily Back Office staff schedules
- Perform other duties as assigned
Location Requirement
Candidates must live within 30 miles Claremont, CA
This is a 13 week contract with the possibility of extending or going permanent within the facility.

Required Qualifications
- Active California LVN or LPN license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification
- IV Therapy certification
- Phlebotomy certification
- Minimum 1 year of Lead LVN experience in a Primary Care setting
Preferred Skills
- EHR experience
- Primary Care background -- 2 years
