Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 PM
\n• Float pool position with no home base facility - must float within 60-mile radius zone
\n• Float to multiple PCU/IMC units covering various specialties including General, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, ED Obs
\n• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:3-4 depending on acuity
\n• 6-9 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
\n• May be placed in holiday rotation
\n• Schedule made by leadership for 6 weeks at a time - must be flexible to fill gaps
\n• All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
\n• Must have 2 years of PCU/IMC experience required
\n• Must have experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan
\n• Must be comfortable titrating and managing cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin
\n• Common drips include dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amio, ativan, insulin, and heparin
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
\n• Epic experience preferred, neuro experience preferred
\n• Care for adult to geriatric population with various diagnoses
\n• May float to ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units based on need
\n• Any color scrubs permitted
\n• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
\n• Rare call/standby requirements for low census
\n• Valid driver's license required for floating responsibilities
