Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Perform advanced radiologic imaging procedures in a high-acuity hospital environment, ensuring precise patient care and accurate diagnostic results. This position requires expertise with multiple x-ray systems spread across a connected four-building complex. The role offers a dedicated evening schedule and a professional setting equipped with the latest technology.
Location:This opportunity is based in Olathe, KS, with work performed at a major regional hospital campus in Kansas City. The area provides a vibrant community with a balance of urban amenities and suburban comfort, making it ideal for both work and everyday living.
Schedule:
- 10.5-hour evening shifts
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic examinations with precision and attention to patient safety
- Utilize computer systems to execute patient testing and retrieve quality and performance data
- Work across four interconnected buildings housing x-ray equipment
- Participate in an 8-hour non-billable orientation
- Adhere to facility policies including nicotine-free environment
- Flexibility for holiday shifts as required by unit needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year recent Radiology Tech experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiology Technology program
- Current certifications: ARRT, BLS, Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) with Kansas Board of Healing Arts license in hand before submitting application
- Proficient in computer systems related to radiologic testing and quality monitoring
Contract Details:
- Contract position starting April 13th or April 20th
- Bi-weekly pay structure
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Orientation conducted on-site the Monday and Tuesday of start week
