Duties
- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards.
- Perform laboratory procedures including microbiology, histology, and molecular biology techniques.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with research & development teams to support product development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and observations in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Assist in the training of new lab personnel on laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Analyze data to identify trends or issues in product quality and communicate findings to management.
Skills
- Strong understanding of GLP, FDA regulations, and CGMP practices.
- Knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary terminology is a plus.
- Experience in industrial or clinical laboratory settings preferred.
- Proficiency in microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other relevant laboratory techniques.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and laboratory information management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data interpretation.
- Strong math skills for performing calculations related to experiments and analyses.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
