Title: Manager, Loram Metro Services
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Digital Service Delivery – Rail
Reports to: Chief Engineer, Rail Quality
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The Manager, Loram Metro Services is a global position responsible for advancing Loram’s reputation as an intellectual authority in transit maintenance applications and strategy and delivering its global consultancy in railroad digital asset management services. Success in this role results in strategic, intimate customer relationships with new and existing transit customers, globally, a long-term service revenue backlog and a differentiated full-service offering that wins in the market.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Delivery of Loram Metro Services
- Lead specialized consulting in rail, ties and ballast to collect and analyze transit maintenance data and create reports to deliver insights and recommendations on optimal maintenance strategies by using Loram specialized software tools
- Ensure documentation of customer problems, priorities, alternatives, and value/value proposition to share with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve digital tools and service delivery
- Stay abreast of technical developments and standards in the transit and passenger industries by reviewing technical publications, articles, and abstracts and participating in industry meetings and events
Business Development and Customer Intimacy
- Execute Loram’s digital customer intimacy strategy for global transit customers, including providing project planning and scoping with customer and sales resources through proposal and contract stage
- Works closely with marketing and sales teams on integrated messaging, content, industry conferences, sales enablement, and thought leadership in transit space
- Identify, develop, & maintain relationships with champions at key transit railroads and influence broader market trends in the digital products space in the transit and passenger industries
- Partner with global sales teams to support the expansion of Loram’s transit offerings by leveraging customer data insights and digital tools to keep customers current with an evolving industry
Inter-Department Coordination and Leadership
- Oversee quality
- assurance team and processes of transit field service execution to validate maintenance effectiveness and refine specifications for future improvement globally
- Coordinate with Loram Engineering and Product teams and outside partners to hold team members accountable for their work tasks, and maintain culture of innovation, strategic thinking, operational excellence, open collaboration and inclusively ensure productive and positive employee experience for all Loram employees
- Effectively communicate complex technical information, both verbally and in writing, to various team members
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience working with technical data analysis and customer engagement,
Licenses/Certifications: Maintain Railroad Certifications and safety training
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s Degree or Advanced Technical Degree preferred
Experience: 5+ years prior experience in supervisor/leadershiprole

Compensation:
Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.
