If you’re a skilled flatbed driver looking for steady freight and real home time, this lane checks every box. You’ll run quality miles, earn a strong percentage of revenue, and work with a team that actually delivers on what it promises.
The Job
- You’ll haul steel and pipe across regional lanes, averaging 2,300–2,800 miles a week.
- Pay is 27% of gross revenue — that’s about $1,400-$1,600 weekly or up to $75,000 a year depending on freight volume.
- You’ll also receive a $1,500 bonus after your first delivery.
- Home every weekend
- Paid weekly every Friday, and backed by a company that respects your time.
- Breakdown, detention, tarping, and layover are all paid.
- Per diem up to $300 weekly, plus rider and pet policies from day one.
Equipment That Works for You
- Drive 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias and Kenworth T680s — automatics equipped with EZ-Pass and Pre-Pass.
- Drivers with auto restriction are welcome.
Orientation & Benefits
- Three-day orientation with travel, hotel, and meals covered.
- Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) kick in after 30 days.
- Paid vacation starts after your first year, with two weeks after three.
What You’ll Need
- At least 22 years old
- One year of verifiable OTR experience
- At least one year of recent flatbed experience (within the last 5 years) hauling steel or pipe loads
- No more than 3 moving violations in 3 years
- No more than 1 at-fault accident in 3 years
- Clean DOT record, no failed drug or alcohol tests
- No more than 6 jobs in the past 3 years
