Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Labor Worker to join our team at the landfill. This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including stacking tires, cleaning bathrooms, and assisting with general labor duties to maintain a clean and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate must be physically fit, able to work in outdoor conditions, and comfortable performing hands-on tasks.Key Responsibilities:
- Tire Stacking:
- Organize and stack tires safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tires to maintain a safe work environment.
- Facility Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Perform general facility maintenance, including trash removal and area cleanup.
- Sweep, mop, and disinfect common areas as needed.
- General Labor Duties:
- Assist with unloading and sorting materials at the landfill.
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment as needed.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the landfill site.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Prior experience in general labor, sanitation, or landfill work is a plus but not required.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to outdoor elements (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working around waste materials and debris.
