Position Overview
Our patner Bryant staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Respiratory Manager to oversee daily operations of its respiratory therapy department. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting staff development and departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage daily departmental operations to align with organizational goals
- Lead staff recruitment, scheduling, payroll oversight, performance evaluations, and professional development
- Provide guidance on conflict resolution, coaching, and corrective actions when necessary
- Monitor departmental budgets, vendor relationships, and resource utilization
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies, including HIPAA
- Oversee equipment, supplies, and procurement processes to maintain operational readiness
- Evaluate patient care quality and coordinate services across clinical teams and departments
- Deliver hands-on patient care support when needed
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams, physicians, and external partners
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Additional coverage for open shifts as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Certified Respiratory Care Therapist with a current Arkansas state license
- Leadership or management experience strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
