Position Summary

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Specialist who will take the lead on all finance and administrative aspects of our vehicle sales. This includes assisting customers with financing, processing warranties, and handling all title, tax, and registration paperwork. When not actively engaged in finance responsibilities, this role will support the sales team—providing product information, helping with customer service, and contributing to a high-energy showroom environment. Key Responsibilities

Finance Responsibilities (Primary Focus)

  • Assist customers with securing financing for new and used powersports vehicles.
  • Process credit applications and maintain communication with banks, credit unions, and other lenders.
  • Clearly explain financing terms, interest rates, down payment options, and loan structures to customers.
  • Accurately prepare, review, and finalize all financial documentation, including buyer contracts, loan documents, and optional protection plans.
  • Handle all title and tax documentation for each sale in accordance with state and local regulations.
  • Submit registration and titling paperwork to the appropriate Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), including out-of-state processing when required.
  • Track and ensure timely completion of all titling, registration, and lien placement activities.
  • Process all warranty and extended service contracts; ensure customers understand coverage options and benefits.
  • Maintain organized, accurate records for audits, customer service, and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure full compliance with dealership policies, finance regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.

Sales Support Responsibilities (Secondary Focus)

  • Assist the sales team by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering basic product knowledge on all powersports units.
  • Help customers understand available models, features, and pricing of side-by-sides, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, ATVs, and more.
  • Support floor traffic, assist with demo setups, and aid in inventory organization.
  • Collaborate with sales staff during promotions and events to maximize customer engagement.
  • Contribute to lead follow-up efforts by making calls, sending emails, or scheduling appointments.
  • Stay up to date on product releases, financing promotions, manufacturer incentives, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, F&I, or vehicle sales administration (automotive or powersports preferred).
  • Working knowledge of credit applications, title and registration processes, and DMV documentation.
  • Familiarity with warranty and extended service contract products.
  • Sales or customer-facing experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and stay productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Lightspeed, and digital contract platforms.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual, able to speak English and Spanish preferred, but not required
