Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room with specialized skills in surgery support. This contract opportunity is based in Aurora, CO, offering a dynamic environment where precision and patient care take priority.
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with expertise in Operating Room nursing
- Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is required
- Must possess both DORA and NBSTSA certifications
- Experience with transplant or spine procedures is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
Schedule and Work Hours:
- 12-hour shifts
- Includes night and weekend on-call responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in collaboration with surgical teams
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments and ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are ready and functional
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
