Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:
\n
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
\n• Full-time position
\n• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed according to established practices and standards
\n• Review prescriptions and diagnoses
\n• Act as liaison between providers and support staff
\n• Prepare equipment including immobilization devices, treatment, and protection devices
\n• Maintain records, reports, and files
\n• May assist in localization of tumor and dosimetry procedures
\n• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety criteria
\n• Maintain required core competencies
\n• Comply with policies and procedures including dress code requirements
\n• Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and accredited radiology program or equivalent required
\n• Two to five years of clinical experience preferred
\n• IMRT experience and LDR/HDR experience preferred
\n• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
\n• Current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) card required
\n• Must have New Mexico licensure upon hire
