You will assess the overall effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers and coordinate patient care in collaboration with various departments. - Graduate Nurse: $2,500
- Experienced Nurse: $10,000
Position: ICU Registered NurseHours: 36 hours per week, Day ShiftLocation: Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO 63028
Join our dynamic and energetic team on a 20-bed unit that includes a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and an 8-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU). We pride ourselves on exceptional teamwork, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. Our dedicated staff collaborates closely to provide lifesaving interventions to those in need.
As a medical-surgical ICU, we cater to a diverse range of patients and diagnoses, offering numerous educational opportunities for our team members. The TCU cares for acutely ill patients who are either transitioning from ICU status or are not yet at the level of requiring ICU care. This fast-paced environment fosters critical thinking skills, making it an excellent learning space for new nurses. Our strong sense of teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration is what truly unites us.
Qualifications:
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: It is your responsibility to obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment, including any compact licensure, and to meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
