Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Soliant has an opening for a contracted School Psychologist in the Kent County, Maryland area. This position is for the 2025-2026 School Year. Soliant offers Weekly Pay, guaranteed hours, and an exceptional Health Benefits & 401k package.

- Desired Work Schedule:M-F, 7:20 to 2:40 and/or 8:30 to 3:50
- School/Location assignment(s): 3 Elementary, 1 Middle, 1 High School - Assignment would vary.
- Approximate number of students on caseload: Responsible for pleting assessments, attending IEP/SST meetings, possibly supporting counseling services (although no current students are identified for counseling services from the school psychologist), potential development of FBAs/BIPs
- Population age group (elem, early childcare, K-12, etc):PK-21
- Types of Evals: as needed (cognitive, social/emotional/behavior, adaptive, FBAs, BIPs, etc.)
- Primary Duties in addition to evals, if any:see above
- Specific License / Certs Required:MD License
- Is experience preferred or required? Preferred
- Are you open to virtual or hybrid candidates?No. Must be in person.
- Does the school/district provide laptop, etc? Yes.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed School Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- School experience is preferred but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Serve as a resource and provide training to school staff on topics such as mental health, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
