This is an exciting time as we are EXPANDING not only our Jackson, MI location as we support patient growth in our area, but also establishing a foothold in NE Florida where we are opening a dental implant speciality practice and family & cosmetic dentistry general office at the end of July 2024.

We are seeking an ASSOCIATE DENTIST with minimum 1-2 years experience, to join our clinical team alongside Dr. Pierre J. Tedders, board-certified dentist, Owner and Clinical Director in his Jackson, MI private practice. The ideal candidate should have an excellent chairside manner, calming and be committed to providing care that makes patients feel like family. Please note that there will be opportunities for mentoring and training from our NE Florida locations. Dr. Pierre J. Tedders is also a Surgical Director at Jacksonville University and has a mentorship role for JU residents in their MBA curriculum.

Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
- Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
- Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services
- Consult with Dr. Tedders on new patient comprehensive treatment planning
- Knowledge of dental implant restoration is preferred
- Provide patient education
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
- Ability to lead and direct dental assistants and conduct morning team meetings
- Initial associate schedule will be alternating Monday/Tuesdays -- expected 6 - 8 days monthly expanding accordingly
Qualifications
- DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required
- Current state license
- Previous experience in clinical or private practice
- CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
- Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
- Excellent chairside manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
