What You Will Do as a BCBA, BSC/LBS:

  • Conduct initial, ongoing, and follow-up behavioral and skills assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop, implement, andmonitorindividualized behavior intervention plans and ABA therapy programsto ensure fidelity and intervention effectiveness
  • Analyze data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make program modifications as needed
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)and/orBHT-ABA staffin accordance withapplicable supervision standards. Supervision and documentation requirements will align with credentialing standards applicable to the clinicians licensure orcertification.
  • Provide consultation, training, and clinical support to parents, school personnel, and therapeutic support staff
  • Write comprehensive assessment reports, treatment plans,crisis plans,clinical updates, and authorization documentation in compliance with insurance, organizational, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in psychological evaluations, school-based consultation, and program development as assigned
  • Conduct community-based training and outreach programs as needed
  • Completerequired onboarding and ongoing professional training andmaintaincompliance with credentialing and organizational requirements


Whatyou willbring to the team as a Licensed Behavior Specialist or BCBA:

Required for all candidates:

  • Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed withAutism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)
  • Strong functional understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Experience addressing maladaptive behaviors in home and school/communityenvironments
  • Experience teaching functional communication and social skills
  • Ability to train, support, and collaborate with clinical staff and ABABehavior Technicians

Credential-specific requirements (one of the following):

  • Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS):Active Behavior Specialist Licensure &Minimum of 2 years post-masters clinical experience
  • Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCBA-D):Active BCBA or BCBA-D certification through the BACB,Minimum of1 yearprofessional experience as a BCBA, Ability to maintain CEUs and active certification in good standing,Experience with standardized assessments such as ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, QABF, MAS, FAST, and Functional Behavior Assessments.


Working Conditions and Physical Demands

  • Estimated 50% travel, dependent on need. Travel is local and between the hours of 7am and 7pm, depending upon the assigned caseload.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks which include prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping.
