Position: Quality Inspector

Shift: Weekend Days
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (work 36, get paid for 40)
Pay: $29 to $32 per hour + 12% shift differential

Job Responsibilities
The Mechanical QA Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining our commitment to quality and conformance with rigorous aerospace customer regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Inspection and Auditing: Inspect and audit a variety of aerospace products to ensure strict conformance to specifications and regulatory standards.
• Technical Interpretation: Expertly read, interpret, and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Gaging and Equipment: Use a wide range of precision gages and measuring equipment, including micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and bore gauges.
• Inspection Processes: Conduct Receiving, In-Process, First Article (FAI), and Final Article inspections.
• Documentation and Reporting: Complete work orders and accurately input data using the internal ERP system.
• Communication: Clearly communicate inspection findings, non-conformance issues, and necessary information to relevant teams.
• Work Environment: Maintain a detail-oriented, fast-paced workflow while working independently.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on piece part mechanical inspection experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an AS9100 Aerospace environment is required.
• Proven ability to apply skilled mechanical inspection methods (using calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret work instructions and procedure manuals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be committed to working the weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
