Job Title: Project Manager / Estimator
Location: Bedford, NH
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 base salary + commission opportunity
Reports To: Operations Leadership
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to oversee residential and commercial mitigation projects from initial loss through completion. This role involves scoping, estimating, job management, and client/insurance coordination. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in water, fire, and mold restoration and thrives in a fast-paced field environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Oversee daily field operations for mitigation projects
- Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient job completion
- Track project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Serve as primary liaison for property owners, insurance adjusters, and TPAs
- Ensure strong communication throughout the lifecycle of each job
Estimating
- Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate and scope damage
- Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate and internal guidelines
- Submit and revise estimates based on insurance carrier feedback or scope changes
- Ensure timely approvals and documentation of all estimating activity
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete job files including photos, moisture readings, drying logs, and notes
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and IICRC guidelines
- Document all communication with clients, carriers, and stakeholders
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with field crews to allocate resources effectively
- Support training and development of technicians on procedures and customer service standards
- Help drive consistent execution across all active projects
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction project management
- Strong proficiency in Xactimate required; Docusketch experience preferred
- Knowledge of water, fire, and mold remediation practices
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
