DES Employment Group is seeking reliable Delivery Drivers in Milan, IL for a well-known flower company. If you have a clean driving record, can handle physical work, and enjoy being on the road, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced and friendly team.
Times of shift vary based on the route you are assigned.
Can be 12am-2pm - 6-10 hour shifts
$18.05 hour
Job Highlights:
- Part-time and full-time positions available
- Local and regional delivery routes (up to 150 miles)
- Use of company sprinter van or truck (no CDL required)
- MUST HAVE DELIVERY DRIVING EXPERIENCE
- Background check, clean driving record, and drug test required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver flowers and related products within a 150-mile radius
- Load and unload company van or truck (up to 50 lbs)
- Carry deliveries up stairs as needed (must be able to lift 50 lbs)
- Manually move freight, stock, or materials as assigned
- Sort cargo before loading and unloading to ensure accurate deliveries
- Record numbers of units handled or moved using daily production sheets or work tickets
Requirements:
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry items upstairs
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication
