Machine Mechanic – Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturing

Job Overview:

We are urgently seeking a skilled Machine Mechanic to support our kitchen cabinet manufacturing operations. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient functioning of CNC, panel cutting, and edge banding machines, minimizing downtime, and maintaining production workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC, panel cutting, and edge banding equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in production machinery.
• Replace or repair faulty components to keep machines running optimally.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and update repair records regularly.
• Assist with machine setup, calibration, and operational adjustments as needed.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to prevent disruptions in production.
• Manage and order spare parts inventory to ensure timely repairs.
• Work closely with production teams to schedule maintenance without affecting workflow.
• Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in woodworking or cabinet manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC, edge banding, and panel cutting machinery.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with production teams.
• Commitment to workplace safety and industry regulations.
