Retail Pharmacist – Part-Time, Omaha, NE
Looking for a flexible part-time pharmacist role in a retail environment with a steady schedule and long-term potential? A grocery store pharmacy in Omaha is seeking a licensed Retail Pharmacist to support ongoing operations and provide high-quality patient care.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring prescription accuracy, and delivering a positive customer experience. This is an excellent fit for a pharmacist who enjoys retail practice and values consistency with room for flexibility.
Work Schedule
This role follows a two-week rotating schedule, with the potential for adjustments based on availability and pharmacy needs:
Week 1 (24 hours)
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Week 2 (17 hours)
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The Pharmacy Manager is open to discussing schedule flexibility.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Counsel patients on medications and answer clinical questions as needed
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support workflow efficiency
- Maintain compliance with all federal and Nebraska state pharmacy laws
- Provide exceptional service to customers in a retail pharmacy setting
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Pharmacist license with no restrictions
- Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with pharmacy staff
- Willingness to be flexible with hours when possible
- Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise is a plus, but not required
