Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Long-term care/Nursing Home setting in Glendive, Montana, United States. Start date: 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. Weekly pay: $1,342–$1,425 per week. This travel assignment is in a LTC/Nursing Home setting with a day shift.

Responsibilities
- Provide PTA-delivered therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT per the established plan of care.
- Assess patient status and implement therapeutic interventions, including range of motion, therapeutic exercises, gait training, strengthening, and functional mobility activities.
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Document sessions accurately in the patient’s medical record and communicate progress to the care team in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and fall prevention.
- Ensure patient and staff safety, maintain clean and properly functioning therapy equipment, and adhere to facility infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Montana (or eligible for MT licensure)
- Education: degree from an accredited PTA program (associate degree) or equivalent
- Experience in or exposure to long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Ability to perform PTA-delivered interventions under supervision and work within established plans of care
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
- Availability for a day shift travel assignment with guaranteed hours and willingness to commit to 13 weeks
