Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and safety‑oriented Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate salt and blending panels, prepare batches, and support packaging operations. Responsibilities include packaging, labeling, and weighing finished products, completing production and shipping records, and collecting quality control samples. You will work closely with a team of operators to support production goals and assist with shipping and receiving of raw materials and finished goods. This role requires maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment while adhering to all applicable D.O.T., industrial hygiene, and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate salt and blending panels
- Prepare batches for production
- Package, label, and weigh finished products
- Complete production records and lot tracking documentation
- Collect and label quality control samples
- Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily output goals
- Assist with shipping and receiving of raw materials and finished goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production and warehouse areas
- Handle materials, warehousing, and shipping activities
- Maintain physical control of non‑conforming raw materials and finished goods
- Ensure compliance with D.O.T., industrial hygiene, OSHA, and safety regulations
Essential Skills
- Experience in a general production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn multiple production and warehouse functions
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with packaging, palletizing, machine operation, forklift operation, and hand tools is preferred
- Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends
- Mandatory overtime is required based on production demands

Work Environment
The production floor is a large manufacturing environment that can be hot, loud, and dusty. The process may generate airborne particles, and materials handled can stain clothing. Employees are required to wear steel‑toe shoes and dark‑colored pants and shirts. PPE is provided, including hard hats, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcclellan, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
