Summary: Responsible for the implementation of a holistic marketing, digital programming, social media and overall advertising plan as well as related projects to achieve budgeted revenues for all the outlets or any additional areas of the resorts that may require creating awareness and visibility.

Essential Job Functions: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Hands on experience with marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, Social Media/Paid Media, E-mail Marketing campaigns, Push Notifications, SMS, Programmatic display etc.
  • Experience with managing given budgets and reporting on intended ROI metrics on budgeted spend and provide feedback and recommendations for future strategies.
  • Build, maintain and report out on marketing plans across stakeholders.
  • Ongoing alignment with marketing team and partners.
  • Creation of experientially driven programming and activations based on target demographics.
  • The candidate must have the ability to think strategically and creatively: analyze, integrate, recommend, and take actions
  • Responsible for strategies and tactics targeted to drive new customer acquisition and shift market share from comp set properties
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced using Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Canva, Microsoft Office, Hootsuite and Email Marketing Systems. Applicant should have a well-developed portfolio of work with a recommended three to five years of experience running a marketing department and creating marketing collateral. Applicant should have print design experience and ability to build social calendars.
  • Ability to write UTM parameters.
  • Research and execute changes to a wide range of sources, such as Google My Business listings, OpenTable, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, with information such as new photos, hours of operation, specials, menus, etc.
  • Creative development for Facebook Advertising is a plus.
  • Ability to manage and refine the process to address changing business needs.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing marketing objectives, and action plans designed to grow revenue & meet business needs while maintaining a healthy and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Create and manage marketing budgets and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the resorts Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Research and execute changes to a wide range of sources and 3rd parties, such as Hotel Portal, Google My Business listings, LinkedIn, and TripAdvisor, with information such as new photos, amenities, hours of operation, specials, menus, etc.
  • May be asked to assist in building, auditing, optimizing and maintaining our restaurant & outlet websites and microsites.
  • Manage the CRM / Email Marketing strategy targeting B2B and B2C audiences to drive revenue, develop loyal customers and convey necessary business information.
  • Strong Collaboration with the outlet operations teams to create a social media calendar inclusive of content and advertising & monitoring performance, across the portfolio.
  • Provide current and accurate financial information, ad hoc reporting, and executive overview to ownership and senior management, as requested.
  • Ability to positively collaborate with associated internal stakeholders, team members, and 3rd party vendors
  • Ability to assertively manage and measure the performance of 3rd party vendors such as (but not limited to) public relations firm and social media agency.
  • Lead and inform creative design of all consumers and B2B facing touch points with alignment of confirmed brand standards.
  • Experienced in managing lifestyle photoshoots.
  • Build relationships/networking within local chamber(s), cultural entities, boards and members of the community for local collaboration.
  • Flexible work hours to include weekend and holidays in order to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (hotel marketing preferred). Five years’ experience in marketing/advertising / public relations. Background encompassing hotel/resort marketing and advertising.

Language Skills: Exceptional written, verbal and written skills including etiquette and ability to work with the public. Knowledge of communications skills, exceptional organization skills, ability to deal with diverse clientele, golf knowledge and or marina experience is an advantage.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate and work well with fellow employees and other departments. Maintain a presentable appearance, behavior and manner at all times. Ability to process administrative work. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting for extended periods of time answering and sending emails. Might regularly stand, walk, and talk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to grab, move, lift, or feel objects, and use telephone and copier machine
