Their primary responsibility will be to repair, maintain, inspect, and prepare plastic injection molds to ensure they are production-ready. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:
- Repair, clean, inspect, and maintain plastic injection molds.
- Change mold components to support production of various products.
- Lubricate and maintain internal and external mold components.
- Operate Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, cut-off saws, and other tool room equipment.
- Assist with mold setup in both large and small injection molding presses.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, hand tools, power tools, gauges, and other maintenance equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tool room while following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional maintenance and tooling duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or an Associate's degree in engineering, metalworking, mold design, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tool room, mold maintenance, plastics manufacturing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience working with plastic injection molds and tooling.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience operating Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, and other manual machining equipment.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, work overtime when needed, and wear required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
