In this role, youll do far more than fill positions. Youll be a trusted partner to our leaders, helping define what great talent looks like, finding and engaging high-quality candidates, and guiding a fair, thoughtful hiring process from start to finish. Most importantly, youll help build a workforce of employee-owners who are invested in their careers, their teams, and the long-term success of the company.


As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you play a key role in positioning
Erickson-Hall Construction as an employer of choice across Southern Californiabringing our culture, values, and opportunities to life for every candidate we meet.


Essential Duties:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, define candidate profiles, and align on hiring strategies.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Director of Human Resources, write clear job descriptions, post to targeted channels, and source passive candidates.
  • Build long-term relationships with unselected candidates and interns as potential candidates for our pipeline of talent for future roles.
  • Represent the companys culture, values, and expectations authentically in all recruiting interactions.
  • Screen rsums and conduct structured phone/video screens and administer skills tests or work samples as relevant.
  • Help leaders conduct effective interviews and make informed, responsible, and well-thought-out decisions.
  • Train hiring managers in structured interviewing and selection best practices.
  • Manage candidate communication and feedback loops to keep high-potential candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the Director of HR to create competitive, equitable offers.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process, from initial contact to offer.
  • Gather hiring manager and interview feedback to make informed selection process improvements.
  • Represent EHCC at job fairs, campus recruiting, and industry events.
  • Use HR tools and recruitment platforms to improve sourcing accuracy and the candidate experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.
