Super Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpet Installer to join our onsite team in Mountain View, CA.

Position Summary

The [DEMO] Carpet Installer is responsible for installing carpet flooring in residential and commercial settings, ensuring a professional finished result and a safe, efficient worksite. You will measure spaces, prepare surfaces, fit and install carpet materials, and make adjustments as needed to achieve clean lines and a durable installation.

This role requires strong attention to detail, reliable craftsmanship, and the ability to follow job specifications while working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure rooms and assess site conditions to determine installation requirements and material needs.

  • Prepare subfloors and surfaces through cleaning, leveling, and necessary prep work to support proper installation.

  • Install carpet, including cutting, fitting, stretching, and securing to achieve accurate alignment and a smooth finish.

  • Handle materials safely, maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, and follow site safety practices.

  • Complete job walk-throughs to confirm quality standards, resolve installation issues, and ensure customer-ready results.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience installing carpet or performing related flooring installation work.

  • Ability to read basic measurements, follow job instructions/specifications, and work to a consistent quality standard.

  • Ability to perform job tasks that may involve lifting, kneeling, and operating hand and power tools safely.

  • Commitment to safety, including proper handling of tools, materials, and worksite practices.

  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work onsite at 2600 Marine Way, Mountain View, CA 94043-1126.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience installing various carpet types and working across different installation conditions.

  • Familiarity with subfloor preparation practices and common flooring installation troubleshooting.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver neat, professional results with minimal rework.

  • Comfortable working with a team while also managing tasks independently to meet job timelines.
