Role Description
This is a part-time or full time role for a Primary Care Medical Assistant located in Hoover, AL. Responsibilities include assisting healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks such as preparing exam rooms, taking patient vitals, updating medical records, managing patient care workflows, prior authorizations, front desk check-in. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating with the medical team to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Medical Assisting, including conducting routine medical procedures and handling patient interactions.
- Proficiency in understanding and applying Medical Terminology.
- Experience working in a Medical Office setting and familiarity with workflows and operations.
- Competence in managing Medical Records and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Demonstrated ability in providing compassionate and high-quality Patient Care.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy standards.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant certification program or equivalent education and experience is preferred.
