Job Description

The Preventative Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring adherence to all company policies, specifically those related to health, safety, and environmental procedures. This role involves leading and overseeing oilers and the Preventive & Predictive teams, assigning daily work orders based on priority, and supporting scheduling and planning. The supervisor monitors team performance, audits completed jobs for accuracy, and provides hands-on support for various maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead oilers and Preventive & Predictive teams.
  • Assign and prioritize daily work orders and tasks.
  • Monitor and communicate changes in team processes.
  • Audit completed jobs for accuracy and documentation.
  • Provide support for lubrication, preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Enforce safety regulations and conduct risk assessments.
  • Review job plans, spare parts, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory and tool check-out processes.
  • Train technicians on new equipment and procedures.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training programs.
  • Support onboarding of new maintenance staff.

Essential Skills

  • Journeyman-level experience or minimum 4 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency in preventive maintenance, hydraulics, and maintenance supervision.
  • Ability to interpret technical data, blueprints, and instructions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance software and CMMS.

This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $99507.00 - $99507.00/yr.
