Work Schedule:
• Part time, 24 to 32 hours a week
• Fridays and Sundays are mandatory
Sunday – 9:00am-5:30pm
Monday 9:00am-2:00pm
Tuesday – 9:00am-2:00pm
Wednesday – 9:00am-2:00pm
Friday – 9:00am-5:30pm
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacy Support Associate to join our fast-paced automated prescription refill team. The ideal candidate will accurately prepare, package, sort, and distribute medications while maintaining strict safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets/capsules.
- Retrieve and process Unit-of-Use and bulk medications.
- Read computer-generated orders and verify correct medication, size, and strength.
- Replenish automated dispensing cells and manage inventory using handheld scanners.
- Perform basic math to count/calculate medication quantities.
- Maintain strong attention to detail for repetitive tasks with 100% accuracy.
- Keep the pharmacy floor clean and organized.
- Follow HIPAA regulations and pharmacy SOPs at all times.
- Prepare shipping paperwork and ensure accurate packing of prescriptions.
- Participate in mandatory overtime when required.
Minimum Qualifications
- HS diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and stand/walk for an entire shift.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motion.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Strong focus, accuracy, and reliability.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations.
- Good computer skills.
- Warehouse or production experience.
- Strong teamwork and customer service mindset.
