Job Description:
We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support data entry and prescription processing within a long-term care pharmacy environment. This role focuses on accurate order entry, communication with facilities, and supporting the pharmacy team in a high-volume setting.
Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification in Minnesota
- Previous LTC or pharmacy data entry experience preferred
- Strong typing and computer skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter new and refill prescription orders into the pharmacy system
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with nursing staff and facilities to clarify orders as needed
- Assist with insurance and billing-related data entry
- Maintain compliance with LTC and pharmacy regulations
- Support pharmacists and fulfillment teams with daily workflow
