Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible scheduling with available full-time shifts
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts (or compact license)
- Minimum one year prior psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required; additional psychiatric/mental health certifications highly desirable
- Well-developed crisis intervention, communication, and observation skills
- Passion for patient-focused mental health care
- Experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver holistic, compassionate psychiatric and mental health care to a diverse patient population
- Conduct patient assessments, implement individualized care plans, and document progress
- Monitor, manage, and respond to acute behavioral symptoms
- Ensure safe medication management and educate patients/families
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff
- Uphold best practices and regulatory guidelines for inpatient psychiatric care
