📍 Coeur d’Alene Area/Hayden, ID (Near Spokane, WA)
up to $52/hr Total Compensation DOE - (Per diem for those that qualify)
✈️ ATR Turboprop Heavy Maintenance – Air Cargo Fleet
✈️ ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Structures Mechanic to perform heavy structural maintenance, repairs, and installations on ATR turboprop aircraft used in air cargo operations. You’ll work directly from task cards and blueprints, execute precision‑driven structural repairs, install components, and ensure all work is submitted for inspection to meet aviation safety and quality standards.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for mechanics with strong drilling, riveting, and fabrication skills who enjoy working on commercial turboprop aircraft in a well‑equipped MRO environment.
✅ WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Review task cards and blueprints to determine required work
- Identify and set up all necessary tools and materials
- Perform structural repairs, removals, and installations
- Drill, ream, and rivet to close tolerances using standard and blind/pop rivets (including Hi‑Loks)
- Complete basic fabrication tasks and structural installations
- Conduct corrosion control procedures
- Fabricate and install stringers and doublers
- Perform quality checks to verify structural integrity and proper installation
- Submit completed work packages for inspection
🛠️ ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- 5+ years aircraft structural repair or fabrication experience
- Strong ability to drill, ream, countersink, and rivet using blueprints
- Previous experience in MRO environments
- Ability to pass a basic structures fabrication test
- Proficient with:
- Drill motor
- Countersink cage / microstop
- Rivet gun & rivet sets
- 1/4" ratchet & sockets
- Grinder
- Machinist scale/rule
- Clecos & fastening tools

- ATR aircraft experience highly beneficial
- Reliable teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

🏗️ WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE
- Work inside an insulated hangar MRO facility with:
- On‑site shops
- Break room
- Tool crib
- Second Shift:
- Mon–Fri: 15:30 – 02:00
- (Times may adjust slightly as the new shift is finalized)
- All departments housed in the same building for efficient workflow

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $52.00/hr.
