Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are needed for a dynamic K-12 school environment near Stuart, Florida. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the communication development of students while working onsite in a supportive educational setting. Both full-time and part-time schedules may be considered, with a traditional school calendarno weekends required.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified SLPA with experience in schools or pediatric settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply but it is not mandatory
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Location:
- Onsite position near Stuart, Florida (close to Vero Beach, FL)
Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists with therapy and screening activities
- Support individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
