Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity involves working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within an elementary behavior classroom setting. The role spans a full semester, providing consistent support for a caseload of six students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with special education and general education teachers to support student progress
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to student behavior and program effectiveness
- Provide training and consultation to staff on behavior management techniques
- Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards in applied behavior analysis
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is mandatory
- Minimum of a Masters degree in Applied Sciences or a related field
- Experience working in K-12 education settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work onsite five days per week according to the schedule
Position Details:
- Location: York, SC
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:20 AM to 2:50 PM (37.5 hours weekly)
- Caseload: 6 students in behavior-focused elementary classrooms
- Interview format: Flexible, onsite or via Zoom
