Green Planet Restoration, a trusted leader in property damage restoration, is hiring a Restoration Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, and odor control. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the restoration industry — whether you’re experienced or an entry-level restoration technician with a strong work ethic.
We’re based in Tukwila, WA and perform work throughout the Seattle metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform demolition, dry-out, and cleanup on residential and commercial properties
- Set up and maintain containment, HEPA filtration, and negative air machines
- Assist in water extraction, mold remediation, fire/smoke damage cleaning, and odor removal
- Operate restoration equipment: air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters, etc.
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site to explain basic processes and next steps
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Work closely with team leads and project managers
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience as a restoration technician, remediation tech, mitigation specialist, or construction laborer is preferred
- General knowledge of mold remediation, water mitigation, and fire damage restoration
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in challenging environments
- Must speak English fluently — Spanish is a plus
- Professional and respectful communication with both team and clients is essential
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- IICRC certifications (WRT, AMRT, FSRT) are a plus, but not required
